Namesake: Earl Clemans

Clemans was an instructor of chemistry, physics and agriculture and acted as vice (or acting) president between the administrations of Harry Brown and Forest Polk.

History


Clemens Hall was the third dorm built on campus, and it was the first for men. Along with Breese and Nelson Hall, Clemans Hall was part of the "NBC Dorms" that shared a central green space, parking lot and joint programming for residents.  It was demolished in 2010 for the building of Horizon Village.
