Roy Hoglund

An Oshkosh native, Charles "Roy" Hoglund went to Oshkosh West High School before he started at the University of Wisconsin -- Oshkosh (UWO). He received his Bachelor of Arts in 1976 and married Paula (Stevenson) Hoglund in 1977. He continued with his studies earning a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Washington in 1980. His career brought him back to UWO, this time as a professor. At Oshkosh West High School, Roy befriended Mark Gruenwald and stayed good friends with him during their time at UWO and until Mark's death in 1996. Roy still lives with his wife in Oshkosh.
